Before your tattoo appointment, we want you to feel prepared, informed and comfortable. This page explains how to prepare, what to think about before booking, and how to help your tattoo heal well.

If this is your first tattoo, start with our first tattoo guide in Gothenburg.

Before You Book

Think about your idea, placement and approximate size before contacting us. Clear reference images are helpful, but we do not copy another artist’s tattoo directly. We use references as inspiration and help shape the design into something personal that works on your body.

If you are unsure about style, placement, size or price, send your idea through our consultation form. We will give honest guidance, a realistic estimate and the next available steps.

How to Prepare for Your Appointment

Medical or Skin Concerns

Please tell us before your appointment if you have any medical condition, medication, allergy, skin issue or healing concern that may affect your tattoo session or aftercare. We follow strict hygiene routines and use professional safety procedures with every client.

For more details about our studio routines, read our hygiene and safety page.

We cannot tattoo someone who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs. If your skin is irritated, sunburned, damaged or unsuitable on the day, your artist may recommend rescheduling for your safety and for the best tattoo result.

Bringing Someone With You

You may bring one calm support person if needed. Please do not bring children, pets or a large group. A tattoo studio needs to stay clean, focused and safe for everyone.

Aftercare

After your tattoo, your artist will explain how to care for it. Good aftercare is important for healing, comfort and long-term results. Follow the instructions you receive from your artist, keep the tattoo clean, avoid scratching, and protect it from sun, swimming and sauna while it heals.
